Hey guys myself Parth Hajari , A self learning student mad about learning hacking and want become an ethical hacker with a dream to make the internet a better place to stay on. So let’s get started with my first blog about proper understanding the term hacking and the types of hackers.
The term hacking is a term including it’s own world. This is a technique for gaining unauthorized access to a computer system or a computer network. The person who performs this technique is considered as a Hacker. Hackers consists of mainly 3 categories :
(i) White Hat Hacker.
(ii) Grey Hat Hacker.
(iii) Black Hat Hacker.
(i)White Hat Hacker:
The hacker who has been authorised for gaining access into a computer system or a network to find out its vulnerabilities and loop-holes which other hackers might use for their personal gain. These hackers repairs those vulnerabilities to stop data breaches of their firm. Such hackers are classified into White Hat hackers.
(ii)Black Hat Hacker:
The hacker who hasn’t been authorised for gaining access into a computer system or network. Though violates the firms privacy for his/her personal benefits using some loop-holes and vulnerabilities of the code and create a data breach which might be a cause of great loss for the firm. Such hackers which harm others for their personal benefits are classified as Black Hat Hackers.
(iii)Grey Hat Hackers:
The hacker who has a knowledge of both techniques as White and Black Hat Hackers are considered as a Grey Hat Hackers. Such hackers can’t be predicted. Some times they pretend to be White Hat Hackers and some times the pretend to be Black Hat Hackers. So these hackers are considered as Grey Hat Hackers.
